Evolynx assisted ECS in mapping the current (AS-IS) business processes for both divisions, using workshops with various key users. This provided insights into how ECS can optimize processes and systems in the future.

Our assignment

ECS is a leading provider of integrated supply chain logistics and intermodal transport solutions. After an acquisition, the company wanted to accelerate its growth and efficiency using digital transformation: the idea was to optimize the synergies between the two business units. To achieve the best results from that transformation, ECS enlisted the help of Evolynx.

 

Our contribution

After an initial analysis of the current software, we mapped out the current way of working and the bottlenecks of both business units through brown paper session.

 

We compared both AS IS analyses: where is it possible to align the processes of the business units? What considerations does ECS definitely need to take into account?

Thanks to the insights provided by Evolynx, ECS can take the next step in their digital transformation: mapping out the TO BE situation and defining the correct requirements. Those requirements will be used to implement an integrated TMS platform (Transport Management System).
